Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd seeks 2 Electricians for an ongoing installation project at a major industrial site in Culham, Oxfordshire. The positions are site-based with immediate starts and a long-term outlook through June 2027.

Responsibilities include installing, testing, commissioning, fault-finding and maintaining electrical systems while adhering to safe systems of work and current regulations. BPSS clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Completed Electrical Craft Apprenticeship.
• City & Guilds 2357 (AM2) or equivalent.
• 18th Edition BS 7671 qualification.
• City & Guilds 2395 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.

Location: Culham, Oxfordshire (100% site-based)
Rate: Up to 35.00 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)
Contract: Until June 2027
Start: ASAP
IR35: Inside IR35
Security Clearance: BPSS
We are recruiting for 2 Electricians to support ongoing electrical installation works on a major industrial site in Culham. This is a long-term opportunity working within a busy industrial environment, carrying out a variety of installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding activities.

The Role

• Carry out electrical installation works across the site
• Commission, test and inspect electrical systems
• Undertake fault finding, maintenance and repairs
• Work safely in accordance with site procedures and current electrical regulations
• Collaborate with the wider project team to deliver works safely and efficiently

Essential Requirements

• Completed Electrical Craft Apprenticeship
• City & Guilds 2357 (AM2) or equivalent
• 18th Edition BS 7671 qualification
• City & Guilds 2395 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent
• Previous industrial or commercial electrical experience
• Ability to work safely following written safe systems of work
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise workload
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Desirable

• Experience working on large electrical distribution networks
• Previous supervisory experience

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract on a major industrial project, with work available through to June 2027. Immediate starts are available, subject to BPSS clearance and successful onboarding.
