  • Recognized electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  • Valid industry certifications and up-to-date knowledge of UK electrical regulations (e.g., BS 7671).
  • Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.
  • Strong attention to safety and ability to work to health and safety standards and risk assessments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to sites around Oxford.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Oxford. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within commercial and industrial buildings, following relevant regulations and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring and cabling, testing and inspecting electrical installations, and diagnosing faults. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues, performing scheduled and reactive maintenance, and ensuring work areas are safe and compliant. The Electrician will collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects on time and provide reliable service to clients.
