Job summary

Saffron Housing Trust Limited is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Electrical team, carrying out installation, maintenance and remedial works across Trust properties, in both occupied and unoccupied homes.

You will apply your UK electrical qualifications, 18th Edition knowledge, and customer service skills to work safely and to a high standard with responsibilities including van stock and job updates via a mobile device.

Qualifications

• Relevant UK electrical qualifications.
• ECS Gold Card required.
• 18th Edition BS7671:2018 knowledge.
• Experience in domestic electrical work.
• Full valid driving licence.
• Eligible for out-of-hours call-out rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, maintenance, improvement and remedial works across Saffron Housing Trust properties.
• Work in both occupied and unoccupied homes.
• Use technical knowledge and customer service skills to complete work safely and efficiently.
• Manage van stock, tools, materials and report via mobile device.

Job description

You will work in both occupied and unoccupied homes, using your technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills to complete work safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The role also includes responsibility for van stock, tools, materials and completing jobs via a mobile device.

Applicants will need relevant UK electrical qualifications, evidence of an ECS Gold Card, 18th Edition BS7671:2018, experience of domestic electrical work, a full valid driving licence and the ability to take part in an out of hours call-out rota. This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service check.
