Job summary

Facilitate Search Ltd is recruiting an experienced Electrician to join the maintenance team at a large healthcare site in Birmingham. You will carry out electrical installation, maintenance and repair work across the site, ensuring safety, compliance and continuous operation.

The role requires an Electrical Apprenticeship, 18th Edition and AM2, plus strong fault finding and the ability to work in a healthcare environment. Permanent, full-time.

Qualifications

• Electrical Apprenticeship completed.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• AM2 qualification.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and/or installations.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a healthcare environment.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join the maintenance team at a large healthcare site in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for a stable, long-term position within a professional healthcare environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of electrical installation, maintenance and repair works across the site, ensuring all systems and assets remain safe, compliant and operational.

Your duties will include:

• General electrical installations and repairs
• Repairing and replacing sockets, switches and lamps
• Retrofitting electrical components
• Rewiring assets and equipment
• Emergency lighting maintenance and testing
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• Previous experience in electrical maintenance and/or installations
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• A strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance
• The ability to work professionally within a healthcare environment
