Job summary

Sureserve is seeking a qualified electrician experienced with domestic heating and hot water systems to join the Compliance Central team. You will visit properties to perform tests, install wiring for heating systems, and ensure high customer service standards across multiple sites.

Role involves completing mandatory paperwork, adhering to health and safety rules, and assisting with stock control. A company vehicle is provided with spread of regional visits.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with experience of domestic heating and hot water systems.
• Experience with EICR and periodic testing.
• Good communication with clients and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EICR after assessing the electrical installation within properties.
• Perform periodic testing and wiring installation of new heating systems on various properties.
• Maintain high levels of customer care for clients and tenants.
• Document updates and progress electronically and on paper.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements and risk assessments.
• Assist with stock ordering and auditing to ensure parts are available.

We are seeking a qualified electrician with experience of domestic heating and hot water systems

Overview of Role

You will be attending properties, conducting testing and remedial works. We are looking for a qualified electrical engineer with experience of domestic heating and hot water systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out EICR following an assessment of the electrical installation within properties.
• Periodic testing and wiring installation of new heating systems on a variety of domestic and commercial properties across the region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.

Working hours are

Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm (1 hour for lunch).
