Job summary

Sureserve is seeking a qualified electrician to service domestic heating and hot water systems across properties in the region. You will perform EICRs, testing, and installation work while prioritising safety and quality. A strong focus on client communication and regulatory compliance is essential.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. The role offers a company vehicle, uniform, and opportunities for professional qualification support as part of a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrical engineer with experience in domestic heating and hot water systems.
• Experience performing EICRs and testing in occupied properties.
• Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EICR following assessment of electrical installation in properties.
• Perform periodic testing and wiring installation of new heating systems in various properties.
• Provide high levels of customer care with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
• Communicate progress and updates, complete paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure Health and Safety requirements and COSHH, Safe Systems of Work are followed.
• Assist with stock ordering and auditing to ensure parts are available.

We are seeking a qualified electrician with experience of domestic heating and hot water systems.

Overview ofRole:

You will be attending properties, conducting testing and remedial works. We are looking for a qualified electrical engineer with experience of domestic heating and hot water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out EICR following an assessment of the electrical installation within properties.

• Periodic testing and wiring installation of new heating systems on a variety of domestic and commercial properties across the region.

• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.

• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.

• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.

• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
