The North West Trunk Road Unit covers approximately 1,422 km of trunk roads through some of the most scenic areas of Scotland, including 1,501 bridges and structures such as the Kessock Bridge (carrying the A9 north of Inverness) and the A87 Skye Crossing.
The unit's coverage extends from Thurso and Wick in the Highlands to Campbeltown in Argyll and Bute, and from Uig on Skye to Perth and Stirling in the Central Belt.
BEAR Scotland manages, maintains, and improves 1962 km of Scottish trunk roads, including over 2000 bridges and structures, through scenic yet challenging areas. We invest millions annually in road maintenance and improvements.
