Job summary

Red Rock Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Qualified Electrician for roles based in Kingston upon Hull with UK-wide travel and staying away when required. The position is full-time and permanent with a 40-hour week and overtime paid at time and a quarter.

The role covers modular buildings, commercial and renewable energy installations across the UK. The successful candidate will work independently or as part of a team, delivering high-quality workmanship and progressing toward a Supervisor role.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical installations in commercial or renewable energy projects.
• Ability to supervise trainees and ensure safety.
• Strong communication with project managers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Project Managers daily and coordinate with teams.
• Respond to emails and communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Complete electrical installations to a high standard.
• Supervise trainees and Electrical Mates when required.
• Manage materials and use order numbers.
• Work from drawings and plans.
• Complete testing and certification using a tablet.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism.
• Deliver excellent customer service on all projects.

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £37,440 - £45,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, with additional hours paid at time and a quarter

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Qualified Electrician to join an established electrical contractor based in Kingston upon Hull. The company delivers electrical and renewable energy installations across the UK, working across modular buildings, commercial properties and renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Customer satisfaction, professionalism and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation are key to the role. This position would suit a motivated electrician looking to progress their career, with the opportunity to work towards a Supervisor role.

Pay & Benefits

• £37,440 - £45,000 per annum
• 40 hours per week paid at the standard rate
• Additional hours paid at time and a quarter
• When working away more than 75 miles
• Additional £1 per hour when working away under the above arrangement
• £25 per overnight stay
• £0.55 per mile mileage allowance
