Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking an Electrician to join their established maintenance team in the manufacturing sector. This on-site role offers day shifts with weekends free and a structured training program.

You will perform reactive and planned maintenance, record activities, and support lean manufacturing initiatives while upholding health and safety standards. There are opportunities to develop skills and progress within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification or experience desirable.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations as a minimum.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site reactive maintenance and repairs.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Keep accurate maintenance records.
• Coordinate with teams to minimise production disruption.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards.
• Carry out risk assessments and investigations.
• Support continuous improvement and lean processes.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Following their recent investment they are looking for an Electrician to join their well-established maintenance team where they can provide on the job training being shadowed by experienced electrical maintenance engineers to ensure you improve your skills. There will also be opportunities to grow and develop within this business and progress within the organisation if you have ambitions to further develop your career.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site reactive maintenance and general building repairs.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to production during maintenance work.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met.
• Conduct risk assessments and participate in accident investigations.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipmentKnowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Electrical qualification or experience desirable - need to have 18th Edition wiring regulations as a minimum
