Quality Electrics LTD is a respected and growing electrical business in Glasgow, known for our commitment to quality, safety, and integrity. We serve a wide range of residential and commercial clients, and we pride ourselves on doing the job right the first time. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and reliable electrician to join our team.

We are seeking a full-time electrician with strong electrical knowledge and practical experience. The ideal candidate is not only technically capable but also demonstrates high integrity, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure systems operate effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes during installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring they are used safely and correctly.

Experience

• Proven experience as an Electrician (BS7671 18th Edition - mandatory) or similar role is preferred.
• Other relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work (i.e. Inspection Testing Level 3) are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Valid UK Driver's License is mandatory
• ECS Gold Card is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
