Job summary

Dynamite-Recruitment-Solutions in Fareham is recruiting a qualified Electrician to join a well‑established property maintenance and repairs business. You will carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and installations across occupied residential properties, using modern equipment and delivering great customer service.

You will perform fault finding, inspections, rewires and installations including heating controls, with a focus on safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Testing & Inspection qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in social housing, domestic maintenance or property repairs.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Professional and respectful approach when working in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Electrical testing and inspection across residential properties.
• Fault finding and reactive repairs.
• Full and partial rewires.
• Kitchen and bathroom electrical installations.
• Installation of domestic heating controls and systems.
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults.
• Completing emergency call‑outs when required.
• Maintaining accurate job records and photos when needed.
• Following health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Providing excellent customer service in residents' homes.

What We're Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Testing & Inspection qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous experience within social housing, domestic maintenance or property repairs
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
• A professional and respectful approach when working in customers' homes

A CSCS card is beneficial but not essential.

A DBS check will be required before employment.
