Job summary

We are looking for a talented Electrician to join MARCH in Cornwall and Devon, delivering and maintaining water and wastewater infrastructure across workshop and site environments.

You will work on electrical installations, control panels, fault-finding, testing and commissioning of process equipment, reporting to the Project Manager or Project Engineer in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices within industrial environments.
  • ECS Card and relevant electrical trade qualifications.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Inspection and Testing qualification.
  • Water industry experience advantageous, but not essential.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
  • Strong team player with excellent organisational skills.
  • Professional, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining and fault-finding on electrical systems and process plant equipment.
  • Working on water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations and chemical dosing systems.
  • Manufacturing, installing and maintaining electrical control panels.
  • Installing and maintaining cabling systems, containment and instrumentation.
  • Supporting inspection, testing, commissioning and diagnostic activities.
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues across a variety of projects.
  • Supervising apprentices and providing support to colleagues and other trades when required.
  • Ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
  • Updating technical documentation and contributing to As-Built records.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting efficient project delivery.
  • Maintaining excellent health, safety and environmental standards at all times.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Electrician to join our growing team in Cornwall and Devon. Working across both workshop and site environments, you'll play an important role in delivering and maintaining essential water and wastewater infrastructure that supports local communities and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
