Job summary

Gap Technical Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician for a 2-3 month contract at a large distribution and office site in Northamptonshire. You will carry out installations and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical and general building systems, ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently.

The role is full-time on-site with a competitive day rate.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Installations qualification (or equivalent).
• 18th edition wiring regs.
• Experience in facilities or site-based maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices (IOSH desirable).
• Flexible, proactive, and able to prioritise workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and respond to reactive tasks across electrical systems, building services, and general facilities.
• Complete electrical maintenance, installation, testing, inspection, and fault-finding to current regulations.
• Identify and report hazards, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
