Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Electrician for a temp-to-perm position across North London and Westminster. The role offers 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £24.60 per hour (CIS) and a van with a fuel card provided.

You will perform electrical repairs, maintenance and installations in domestic properties, ensuring first-time fixes where possible and maintaining compliance with current safety standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition.
• City & Guilds Testing & Inspection certification is required.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and proven domestic-installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and installations in domestic properties.
• Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs to electrical systems.
• Conduct EICRs and testing as required.
• Ensure all work complies with current safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain client relationships.

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves working across domestic properties, delivering high-quality work and aiming for first-time fixes wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations in domestic properties

Qualifications and Experience
