Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is recruiting an Electrician for the Chichester area. The role involves travelling across the South Coast to install electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities, with routine servicing and testing tasks.

The position offers a basic salary in the £38k–£41k range, with a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri), overtime at 2x on weekends, and a company van with a fuel card. A bonus scheme is available for timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with NVQ Level 3, AM2 and 18th Edition.
• ECS/JIB Gold Card holder.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based within a commutable distance of Chichester, West Sussex.

• Travel to sites across the South Coast, mainly between Portsmouth and Worthing.
• Install electrical systems including lighting and power supplies in commercial and industrial facilities.
• Complete routine electrical servicing, maintenance, and testing tasks.

Position: Electrician

Location: Chichester, West Sussex

Salary: £38,230 - £41,766 (negotiable depending on experience)

We are a Chichester-based electrical contractor providing electrical installations, maintenance, and compliance services to domestic, commercial, and industrial clients across the south coast for over 25 years.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to sites across the South Coast, mainly between Portsmouth and Worthing.
• Install electrical systems including lighting and power supplies in commercial and industrial facilities, including food manufacturing sites, schools, universities, and car manufacturing facilities.
• Complete routine electrical servicing, maintenance, and testing tasks.

Qualifications

• Fully Qualified Electrician holding NVQ Level 3, AM2, and 18th Edition.
• ECS/JIB Gold Card holder.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification desirable but not essential.
• Previous experience working on commercial/industrial electrical installation projects.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based within a commutable distance of Chichester, West Sussex.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £38,230 - £41,766 (minimum JIB rates; negotiable depending on experience).
• Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Overtime paid at 2x for weekend work.
• 21 days holiday, plus bank holidays (increasing with tenure).
• Company van provided with a fuel card and optional personal use.
• Bonus scheme available for jobs completed ahead of schedule.
