Job summary

MKC Training in Chatham is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join a prestigious training facility. The role offers £36,000 rising to £38,000 after probation, with excellent benefits, training and career prospects.

The position is permanent, 37 hours per week (Mon–Fri) with a strong focus on inspection, testing and installation across workshops, offices and classrooms. Full DBS required and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications such as C&G, NVQ, 18th Edition IET Regulations.
• Experience with AC/DC motor and generators, LV switchgear, control gear and equipment, electric portable tools, welding machines, workshop wiring and distribution systems, fault finding on controls and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, testing and repair of electrical machinery and equipment used within the technical trade workshops, offices and classrooms.
• Installation works in support of the training requirements.
