Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an Electrician for contracts across South Birmingham, Redditch and surrounding areas. The role supports the repairs and maintenance team on domestic social housing properties, with a minimum 3-month duration.

Role involves completing electrical repairs, ensuring H&S compliance, and using a PDA to log jobs. Van, tools and fuel card are provided; DBS and Asbestos training are available to assist with the role.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Electrician

Location: South Birmingham, Redditch & surrounding areas

Build Recruitment are on the lookout for Skilled Electricians looking for their next contract, based across South Birmingham, to work on domestic social housing properties.

The role will be working within the repairs and maintenance team.

Due to the large amount we are recruiting we are holding multiple assessment days over the coming weeks.

This role is due to last a minimum of 3 months minimum.

• Van, tools & Fuel card provided
• Pay - £25.19 per hour CIS
• Hours - 8am til 5pm

Duties will include completing necessary electrical repairs and maintenance as per customer requirement, including remedials and upgrades.

Ensure all work is done to H & S standards.

Use of a PDA to log jobs.

Qualifications required

• 18th edition, NVQ/C&G Level 3, 2391 or 2394/5 & JIB gold card
• AM2 desirable

A DBS and Asbestos training is required for this role, which we can assist with.
