Job summary

Axis CLC is recruiting an Electrician to support the Southern Housing Sussex contract, covering East Sussex, Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill-on-Sea. You will perform electrical maintenance, testing and installation across domestic properties with a focus on safety and workmanship.

Role requires 18th Edition, AM2 and 2391 inspections, a clean UK licence and DBS on onboarding. Benefits include a company van, fuel card and generous leave, plus ongoing training and progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• AM2 qualification and 2391 Inspection & Testing certification.
• Clean UK driving licence and compliance DBS onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, maintenance and repairs in domestic properties.
• Complete required Health & Safety risk assessments on site.
• Undertake routine servicing and maintenance of electrical systems and appliances.
• Identify and report faulty installations or non-compliant systems.
• Replace sockets, fittings and associated electrical components.
• Interpret job tickets and complete works accurately.
• Ensure all works meet current electrical regulations and standards.

Axis, part of Axis CLC, is a trusted property services specialist delivering responsive repairs, planned works, refurbishments and voids services. We support clients across London and the Southeast, helping maintain safe, compliant and well-managed housing stock. We are recruiting for an Electrician to support our Southern Housing Sussex contract, covering East Sussex, primarily Hastings, St Leonards and Bexhill-on-Sea. This role involves delivering electrical maintenance, testing and installation works across residential properties, ensuring compliance and high standards of safety and workmanship.
