Job summary

Talent Finder is recruiting for a fully mobile electrician based in the United Kingdom. The role involves working from home and daily travel to customer sites within a practical commuting radius, with flexibility to cover other areas as needed.

The position requires 2+ years in reactive/jobbing electrical work, Level 3 Electrical Qualification, and the ability to work independently in occupied homes while delivering high standards of workmanship and customer care.

Job description

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with a 30-minute unpaid break. Flexibility to work 07:30–16:30 may be discussed

A well-established and trusted electrical contractor based in Benfleet, the company provides professional electrical, fire, and security services to both domestic and commercial customers across Essex and North London, including Basildon, Southend, Colchester, Leigh-on-Sea, and surrounding areas.

The Role

This is a fully mobile position working from home and travelling daily to customer sites within a practical commuting radius. While most work will be local to your home location, flexibility is required to travel to other areas when needed.

You will carry out a varied workload of reactive maintenance, installations, rewires and electrical testing, with a significant amount of EICR testing and associated remedial works for electricians who hold the relevant inspection and testing experience/qualifications. The role requires someone confident working independently in a “one engineer per van” environment, maintaining high technical standards and delivering excellent customer service.

• EICR remedial works experience
• Experience with rewires
