Job summary

Saltire Facilities Management is seeking skilled Electricians to join our North Lanarkshire contracts. Work across field-based sites delivering EICRs, fault diagnosis, and heating system installs while upholding safety and high quality workmanship.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, supervisors and support teams, with on-call rota and a 40-hour week, plus a competitive benefits package including a company vehicle and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• City & Guilds 2391 or SELECT 214 required.
• SJIB grade card required.

Responsibilities

• Complete commercial and domestic EICRs.
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions.
• Install heating systems, including gas and electric boilers and electrical storage heating.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (40 hours per week), plus on-call rota

The Role

Working across various contracts, you’ll collaborate closely with fellow engineers, supervisors, and our office-based support teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

You’ll be a key part of a team that values communication, reliability, and getting the job done right first time.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete commercial and domestic EICRs
• Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions
• Install heating systems, including gas and electric boilers and electrical storage heating
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
• Maintain accurate records using provided systems (PDA)
