Blue Arrow is seeking skilled Electricians / Approved Electricians to join a growing Aberdeen team. You will deliver high-quality electrical installations, maintenance and testing across commercial and industrial sites, with on-site support and safety at the core.

Role includes supervising apprentices, liaising with clients, and ongoing site documentation. On-call duties with standby payments and overtime opportunities enhance earnings.

Formación

• SJIB Electrician status or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• ECS Gold Card.
• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing preferred.
• Proven experience in commercial/industrial electrical work.
• Strong health and safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out electrical installations per BS7671 and regulations.
• Inspect, test and certify electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults safely and efficiently.
• Supervise apprentices and junior electricians.
• Maintain documentation and compliance records.
• Liaise with clients and site managers for project delivery.
• Perform regular planned preventive maintenance (PPM) visits.
• Review reports and price remedial works accurately.

Salary: £40,000 basic salary

• One weekend in three on-call rota (expected to improve as additional staff join the team)

We are seeking skilled and motivated Electricians / Approved Electricians to join a growing electrical team based in Aberdeen. Applications from candidates based in Angus, Dundee and Elgin are also welcome.

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and testing across commercial and industrial sites. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects while developing your career within a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include but is not limited to:

• Carrying out electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and current building regulations
• Performing inspection, testing, and certification of electrical systems
• Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently and safely
• Supervising apprentices and junior electricians
• Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance records
• Liaising with clients and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery
• Carrying out regular PPM visits
• Reviewing engineers' reports and pricing remedial works accordingly, ensuring accuracy and profitability

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

• SJIB Electrician / Approved Electrician status or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ECS Gold Card
• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferred)
• Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices
• Full UK driving licence
• EV experience desirable
• IPAF 3a & 3b desirable
