Job summary

Stateside Foods Ltd is recruiting a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrically biased) to join our Engineering Department. The role covers 4 on / 4 off shifts days and nights at our large food production site.

You will lead the engineering team, drive PMs, improve plant reliability, and ensure safety and compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background, experience in FMCG, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with electrical bias and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering best practices and safety compliance.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a maintenance team.
• Experience in FMCG or food production environments is preferred.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shift Engineering Manager and lead the engineering team.
• Develop site engineering practices and standards for maintenance.
• Resolve engineering issues and ensure timely PMs.
• Maintain safety standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage workload and daily tasks while supporting production.
• Diagnose faults quickly and rectify to restore operations.
