Proactive Global is seeking an Electrically biased Service Engineer to join a leading international provider of warehouse automation solutions. You will service systems across the UK, with focus on Liverpool, Manchester and Stoke-on-Trent, maintaining performance and resolving issues.

You will diagnose electrical and control faults, support PLC software, and contribute to commissioning and upgrades while building strong customer relationships and ensuring safety compliance.

Formación

• Experience in industrial automation, maintenance, commissioning or after-sales service.
• Electrical, electronic, automation or robotics qualification.
• Experience with automated equipment in warehousing/logistics/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal).

Responsabilidades

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on automated warehouse equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and control faults.
• Provide PLC/software support and system enhancements.
• Support commissioning and optimization of installations in the UK areas (Liverpool, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent).
• Complete warranty work, routine servicing and upgrades.
• Monitor performance and prepare service reports.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Plan service activities, quotations and scheduling.
