Job summary

Castle Employment Group is seeking an electrically biased, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy, highly automated manufacturing operation in Hull. The role is dayshift (Monday to Friday) with a salary of £45k-£50k.

You will carry out reactive and preventative maintenance, fault find electrical and mechanical equipment, support new installations, and drive improvements to PPM procedures. You’ll collaborate with production to minimise downtime while upholding high Health & Safety

Qualifications

• Level 2 and 3 engineering qualifications.
• Experience maintaining factory plant and production machinery.
• 18th Edition, 2394/95 or apprenticeship training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance
• Fault find and repair electrical and mechanical machinery
• Support new machinery installations and commissioning
• Carry out repairs and modifications to improve reliability
• Develop and improve PPM procedures
• Get involved in Continuous Improvement and engineering projects
• Support general facility maintenance where required
• Work closely with production to minimise downtime
• Maintain high Health & Safety standards
