Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in Okehampton is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer to support production, ensuring safe, reliable operation of all equipment and adherence to health and safety procedures.

You will carry out routine and preventative maintenance, attend to breakdowns promptly, record work with root causes and consumables, and drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent recognised engineering qualification.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Strong fault finding and electrical analysis abilities.
• Flexible working attitude and attention to detail.

Multi Skilled Engineer

Okehampton

£42,000 - £45,000 per annum

ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a well established business on a permanent basis. Provide Engineering support to Production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment whilst ensuring that all H&S procedures, and engineering best practice is adhered to at all times.

The Role:

• Accurate & timely records are entered and recorded on all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares/consumables used.
• Carry out routine maintenance and planned preventative maintenance.
• Attend and resolve breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Promote and complete CI work to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Times served apprenticeship or equivalent
• Recognised Engineering qualification
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Flexible working attitude
• Competent electrical / fault finding & analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Methodical & strong attention to detail
