Job summary

RG Setsquare in Oxford is recruiting a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to maintain a major healthcare contract. The role covers planned and reactive electrical maintenance, fault finding, and safety/compliance across busy site operations.

You will work with M&E and building services systems, liaising with client teams and specialist contractors. Friday-to-Mri? Hours are Monday to Friday; healthcare setting experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance across commercial or healthcare environments.
• Proven ability to carry out PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of building services and mechanical systems.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant electrical qualifications or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.
• Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs.
• Perform PPM in line with site requirements.
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Work across wider M&E and building services.
• Ensure works are safe and compliant.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with contractors and client personnel.
• Support safety and statutory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with client and site team.
• Assist with general building services duties.
