Job summary

Recruited UK is seeking an experienced Electrician or Engineer to join a leading UK training provider as a Workshop Technician at the Rochester Kent training centre. You will guide apprentices through hands-on sessions, maintain a safe workshop, and assist trainers to deliver engaging learning experiences.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 2 in Electrical or Engineering, have industry experience, strong communication skills, good IT skills, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Electrical or Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven industry/occupational experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Good IT skills and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical guidance to apprentices during training sessions.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, organised, and effective workshop environment.
• Support trainers in delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences.
• Ensure equipment and resources are prepared and maintained to a high standard.
