Job summary

Walsall College is seeking a Vocational Coach in Electrical to teach, assess and coach students, helping them develop knowledge, skills and behaviours to achieve their goals. The role involves preparing schemes of work and assessment plans, aligning with employer requirements and progression aspirations.

You will also support students with English, Maths and Digital Skills, interview and enroll new learners, and contribute to the delivery of training in college or workplace environments for

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in electrical/specialist subject area.
• Ability to support development of English, Maths and Digital Skills for students.
• TAQA (301, 302 or 303) or equivalent; commitment to work towards if needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach, assess and coach students to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans aligned with employer requirements.
• Participate in interviewing, enrolment and induction of students.
• Design and deliver training in college or workplace settings; work with apprentices at Level 3 and NVQ levels.
