Job summary

Babcock International is seeking an Electrical Instructor to deliver training at MOD Lyneham. The role is onsite, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, focusing on preparing and delivering electrical courses and ensuring safety and compliance.

You will monitor trainee progress, update materials, and maintain equipment, with SC security clearance required. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in engineering, knowledge of power systems, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a technical/engineering setting.
• Proven experience in a relevant working environment.
• Experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of single- and three-phase power distribution systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering electrical training sessions using modern teaching methods and technologies
• Monitoring trainee development and providing feedback, support, and remedial instruction
• Assessing trainee progress through written and practical evaluations
• Ensuring safety, compliance, and equipment accountability within the training environment
• Maintaining and updating course materials to reflect current equipment and standards
