Job summary

Tungsten Training Centre invites an experienced Electrician to join as Electrical Trainer & Assessor, delivering engaging face-to-face training and supporting a caseload of learners. You will teach Level 2 and Level 3 electrical qualifications to apprentices and adult learners, assess work, provide feedback, and work with quality teams to uphold industry standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive, current or recent experience within the electrical industry.
• Strong technical knowledge across electrical installation.
• Experience delivering training or mentoring would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Planning and preparing engaging lessons in advance.
• Delivering high-quality face-to-face electrical training at Level 2 and Level 3.
• Teaching a mix of apprentices and adult learners.
• Managing your own caseload of learners and monitoring progress.
• Assessing and marking learners' practical and theory work within set timescales.
• Providing constructive feedback to support learner development.
• Conducting workplace/site visits to observe learners in real environments.
• Scheduling and conducting progress reviews with learners and employers.
• Monitoring attendance and engagement, raising concerns as needed.
• Maintaining accurate learner records across company systems.
• Working with awarding bodies, apprenticeship and internal quality requirements.
• Completing CPD to keep technical knowledge current.
