American Institute is seeking an Adjunct Electrical Trades Instructor to teach residential and commercial wiring, NEC requirements, and related lab work. The role combines classroom instruction with practical labs and student assessment to foster professional growth in the electrical trades.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 3 years of verifiable electrical experience, and preferably prior teaching experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of verifiable electrical work experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver comprehensive instruction in wiring methods, NEC, and safety standards.
• Develop and revise course descriptions, syllabi, and teaching materials.
• Provide timely quizzes, tests, and lab feedback within 48 hours.
• Supervise student projects and coach professional skills for career entry.
• Coordinate with program leadership to input on curriculum development.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal and state requirements.
