Brookfield M&E Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Electrical Testing Supervisor to oversee testing, inspection and certification across its construction projects. This role suits a qualified professional with strong supervisory skills and knowledge of current regulations.

You will manage the testing team, ensure certificates are accurate and submitted on time, and provide technical support to site teams while maintaining compliance with BS 7671 and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrical testing professional with strong supervisory experience.
• Deep knowledge of current regulations governing electrical testing and certification.
• Experience overseeing testing and certification across construction projects.
• Familiarity with BS 7671 and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical testers and electricians across multiple projects
• Plan and coordinate inspection and testing activities
• Carry out initial verification, periodic inspection and electrical testing
• Review test results and completed electrical certificates
• Ensure certificates are accurate and compliant before submission
• Identify non-compliances, defects and incomplete works
• Produce snagging reports and monitor remedial works
• Coordinate with project managers, site managers and electrical supervisors
• Ensure testing programmes are delivered in line with project deadlines
• Maintain accurate testing records and certification
• Provide technical support to site teams
• Conduct quality inspections throughout electrical installations
• Assist with fault finding and complex testing issues when required
