Job summary

CDM Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Supervisor/Tester for commercial projects in Sunderland. You will oversee delivery from inception to completion, manage on-site electrical activities, and lead site teams to ensure safety and quality.

Applicants should have SSSTS/SMSTS, 2391, a UK driving license, and strong leadership and communication skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders. Competitive salary and progression opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Tester/Supervisor, ideally within commercial projects.
• SSSTS or SMSTS suitable for the role.
• 2391 qualification or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and project management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion.
• Manage and coordinate all on-site electrical activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Lead and supervise site teams, including subcontractors and direct workforce.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols (SSSTS or SMSTS essential).
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports.
