Job summary

Attega Group is recruiting for an Electrical Testing Engineer to join their client team in Manchester. The role focuses on carrying out electrical inspection and testing on commercial sites, performing EICRs and fault finding, and maintaining accurate records to BS 7671 standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a City & Guilds 2391, possess an ECS Gold Card, have experience with pump installations, and hold a full UK driving licence. Willingness to stay away (min.

Qualifications

• 2391 qualification essential.
• ECS Gold Card required.
• Experience with commercial pump installations and water systems.
• Experience testing motor circuits and control panels.
• Experience with commercial electrical installations.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willing to staying away at least 1 week per month.
• National travel expected.
• Knowledge of BS 7671 regulations.
• DBS checks may be required; drug testing during induction and employment could occur.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EICRs, inspection and testing on commercial electrical installations.
• Fault finding and non-compliances.
• Test and diagnose pump installations.
• Carry out reactive and emergency electrical work.
• Maintain testing records in line with BS 7671, health and safety and company standards.
