Job summary

NRT Building Services Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to service social housing properties across Portsmouth and Southampton. The role offers strong earning potential, ongoing training, and clear progression within a reputable housing services provider.

Responsibilities include repairs, installations, EICRs, fault finding, and ensuring safety and compliance with BS 7671. A full UK driving licence is essential and a stable, customer-focused approach is required.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Electrical Engineering qualification is essential.
• AM2 qualification is desirable.
• City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
• Experience working in social housing, domestic electrical repairs, maintenance, or EICR testing is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and regulations.
