Job summary

The Work Shop in Romsey is recruiting an Electrical Test Technician to support the technical, quality and production functions within the business. You will assist with new product prototyping, evaluate new products and test batteries, chargers and systems, ensuring internal product quality.

Experience with ISO9001 is desirable, and you will work as part of a collaborative team in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Good IT skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Electrical engineering experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with ISO systems (ISO 9001).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with new product prototyping.
• Assisting in the evaluation of new products.
• Testing of batteries, chargers and systems.
• Assessment of internal product quality problems.
• Assessment of Customer Returns.
• Maintenance of battery stock.
• Assisting the Quality Manager with internal product inspections and goods inwards.
• Assisting the Technical department with customer reworks.
