Job summary

Salamander Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Testing Technician to join our Deeside team in North Wales. You will perform FAT on cables and heater systems, and provide hands-on support to manufacturing and R&D, ensuring products meet quality, performance and safety standards before delivery.

This role requires strong commitment to safety in a manufacturing environment, with experience in electrical and mechanical testing, data recording, and working with high-voltage equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience with electrical systems.
• Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing.
• Experience with FAT testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute FAT on cables and heater systems to verify performance and quality.
• Perform routine electrical testing on cables and systems.
• Prepare samples and perform terminations for testing.
• Conduct QA/QC tests and document results thoroughly.
• Support R&D initiatives to improve cable performance.
• Maintain and organize testing materials and equipment.
• Uphold safety protocols, PPE compliance and industry regulations.
• Record test procedures, calibrations and maintenance activities.
• Provide general production support as needed.
