Electrical Test Operator

12 month contract
Based in Bolton
Offering £27.53ph Inside IR35

Have you completed an Apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronics Engineering? Do you hold an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Electronics Engineering? Do you want to work with an industry-leading company?

As the Electrical Test Operator, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

1. Certify the product in line with Product Certification procedure
2. Maintain product certification and approval via regular audits
3. Carry out setting-up procedures for testing
4. Carry out tests on electronic equipment in accordance with test instructions, using specified test equipment
5. Carry out simple fault-finding procedures on electronic equipment
6. Keep test records and report faults for rectification
7. Ensure manufacturing test times are met
8. Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack

Skillset required:

1. Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21/ONC. Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent certificate.
2. Experience in Electrical Testing
