Job summary

Ethero in Telford is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer for a temp-to-perm position. The role offers hourly pay from £16 to £19 DOE and an opportunity to move to permanent employment after probation.

You will inspect and test low voltage distribution equipment in line with the company Test Procedure, fill out documentation, liaise with Production, Quality and Projects teams, manage workload, and transport completed builds to the Despatch team.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds qualification with experience in electrical test and inspection.
• BS7671 wiring regulations (18th edition preferable).
• Minimum of 4 GCSEs including Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Production Manager, Quality Manager and Projects Team as required.
• Inspect and test low voltage distribution equipment per Test Procedure.
• Fill out relevant documentation and save within correct file location.
• Liaise with colleagues to manage workload and time.
• Transport completed builds to Despatch team.
