Job summary

MSP Limited is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Test) to drive the testing of high-powered battery systems, FAT and microgrid environments in the United Kingdom. You will own the test facilities and coordinate with Project Management, Engineering and Production to meet delivery timelines.

The role emphasizes rigorous documentation, safety, and hands-on testing, with opportunities to contribute to R&D testing, product validation and customer training while keeping up-to-date technical

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field, or qualified electrician with certification.
• Strong experience in electrical testing and knowledge of renewable or distributed energy systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use diagnostic tools; good safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate testing schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Liaise with project management, engineering and production on timelines.
• Maintain accurate testing records, documentation, and data.
• Take ownership of FAT and Microgrid testing facilities.
• System build and breakdown; test bay management.
• Promote and enforce safety procedures; create RAMS and Safe Systems of Work.
• Support R&D testing and product validation; deliver training to customers.
