Job summary

SkyBlue Solutions is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer - Working Supervisor for on-site work at Sizewell, Leiston. You will oversee inspection, testing and certification of temporary electrical installations on construction sites, ensuring compliance and safety across the project.

The role requires 2391 Level 3, 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card and related certifications, plus STS/SMSTS, IPAF and PASMA. You will coordinate with site teams to maintain high safety standards throughout the duration.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualification (2391 City & Guilds) + 18th Edition wiring regs.
• ECS Gold Card held.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• IPAF and PASMA certifications.
• HSE CITB Test known.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and certify temporary electrical installations on construction sites.
• Ensure electrical systems are safe and compliant with BS 7671, BS 7909 (where applicable), and HSE guidance.
• Support safe site operations throughout the Sizewell project.

Electrical Test Engineer - Working Supervisor

Location: Sizewell, Leiston, East Suffolk

Duration: 12 Months+

Hours: 07:00 - 19:00, 11.5 hours per day

Pay rate: £26.82 PAYE

Sizewell is looking for experienced Electrical Test Engineer - Working Supervsior responsible for the inspection, testing, certification and ongoing compliance of temporary electrical installations on construction sites.

The role ensures all temporary electrical systems are safe, compliant with BS 7671, BS 7909 (where applicable), HSE guidance and company procedures, enabling safe site operations throughout the construction project.

Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical Installation Qualificaion (2391 City & Guilds - Level 3) - 18th Edition Regs
• ECS Gold card
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• IPAF and PASMA
• HSE CITB Test
• Previous experience working in similar environment

Selected candidats will undergo specific vetting for SizewellLodge available for suitable candidates.
