Construkt RS Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to perform EICRs across commercial properties in London and the South East.

The role offers a strong basic salary with substantial overtime potential, a company van, fuel card and private medical insurance, with ongoing training and development supported by a growing contractor. The ideal candidate will have 18th Edition, a 2391 or equivalent, and demonstrate high standards in reporting, coding observations and client-facing

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial EICRs.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to complete reports accurately and on time.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• 2391 or equivalent inspection and testing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out EICRs across commercial properties.

Electrical Test Engineer / EICR Engineer

London / South East

Up to £50,000 basic salary + overtime + van + benefits

Realistic earnings £60,000-£70,000+ with overtime

Construkt RS are woking with a highly reputable electrical compliance company who are looking for an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to carry out EICRs, inspection and testing, and associated remedial works across commercial sites in London and the South East.

They work with high-quality commercial clients and prestigious environments, so this role would suit someone who takes pride in accurate reporting, professional conduct and doing testing properly — not someone who wants to rush through reports just to hit numbers.

The role

• Carrying out EICRs across commercial properties

• Accurate with paperwork and certification
• Able to work independently

• Quality-focused rather than just speed-focused
• Willing to work overtime to increase earnings

Essential requirements

• 18th Edition
• 2391 or equivalent inspection and testing qualification
• Experience carrying out EICRs
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to complete reports accurately and on time

Desirable but not essential

• Experience carrying out remedial works
• IPAF / PASMA
• Experience with compliance contracts
• Ambition to progress into a senior tester, QS or compliance role
