Job summary

INEOS Inovyn in Runcorn, UK, seeks a day-based engineering support professional for the Salt business to maximise reliability and SHE targets. You will perform preventative maintenance on LV electrical systems, fault-find, and coordinate with maintenance teams to deliver solutions.

Responsibilities include organising spares, labour and third-party interactions, recording maintenance in SAP, and ensuring compliance with work control systems and SSOWs.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• CompEx Modules 01–04 certificate.
• IEE Wiring Regulations certificate current.
• Packaging machine experience is a plus.
• Ability to progress a job from initiation to completion.
• Flexible with all staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Behavioural & Safety Principles to Life Saving Rules.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on LV electrical systems.
• Fault-find and resolve equipment failures with timely action.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Coordinator, Engineers, Technicians.
• Record maintenance in SAP (notifications and work orders).
• Work within SSOWs and IGGNs; supervise contractors as needed.
• Supervise jobs or packages, e.g., HV distribution boards.
