Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting an experienced Electrical Technician for a contract role near Bournemouth, United Kingdom, in a Defence & Security environment. You will perform prototype and panel wiring, cable assembly, and harness fabrication to process instructions within a fast-paced production team.

The ideal candidate has attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and good communication across all levels; ability to work independently when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in prototype and panel wireman tasks.
• Experience in manufacturing cable assemblies and harnesses to high standards.
• Good knowledge of company standards and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team or on an individual basis.
• Cable assembly and looming using lacing and other cable accessories.
• Assisting with the wiring of sub-assemblies/enclosures to process instructions.
• Maintaining good housekeeping practices.
• Ensuring good communication with all levels of staff.
• Being self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
