Job summary

Huxley Bertram is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the electrical build, testing, and installation of machinery near Cambridge. Qualifications

• Experience in electrically biased machinery build including wiring.
• Experience working on special purpose or bespoke machinery.
• Knowledge of the Machinery Directive.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical builds of machinery per project spec.
• Install and test electrical components and systems.
• Collaborate with teams and support project delivery.

Skills

Practical and technical aptitude in engineering

Familiarity with electrical components (switchgear, PLCs, etc.)

Strong communication skills

Attention to detail

Problem-solving skills

IT literacy

Education

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation
