A globally leading Chemical Manufacturer based in Middlesbrough is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join their team.

Role Overview

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for electrical maintenance on site, including planned, preventative, and reactive activities, ensuring high standards of site reliability and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise and follow Permit to Work, isolation procedures, and safe systems of work to complete tasks safely.
• Contribute to risk assessments for maintenance duties.
• Perform scheduled maintenance to support site operations.
• Collaborate with project personnel and contractors.
• Support continuous improvement activities for safety and efficiency.
• Develop and review maintenance procedures.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• HNC or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas industry.
• Experience on COMAH regulated or highly hazardous sites (e.g., Nuclear, ATEX).
• Experience with switchgear, distribution boards, motors, and plant equipment maintenance, overhaul, and testing.
• Preferably CompEx trained.
