Job summary

Role Description The Electrical Technician role at EFS Wales is a full-time, on-site position based in Llanelli. The Electrical Technician will perform day-to-day electrical maintenance on equipment and systems, including inspections, testing, repairs, and replacements to ensure safe and reliable operation. The role involves working closely with engineering teams to integrate electrical solutions into manufactured products. The Electrical Technician will also follow safety procedures, maintain accurate records of work carried out, and assist in continuous improvement activities across the site.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Maintenance and working safely with Electrical Equipment.
• Candidates should have a solid understanding of Electricity and basic Electrical Engineering principles.
• Candidates should be proficient in Troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing issues in equipment and systems.
• Relevant technical qualifications in electrical installation, maintenance, or engineering (e.g., NVQ, diploma, or equivalent).
• Experience in industrial or facility-based electrical work, ideally within manufacturing environments.
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and equipment manuals.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
