Job summary

JLL is seeking a Shift Engineer in Edinburgh to operate and maintain building systems across facilities, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

The role includes acting as Duty Authorized Person (LV) when required, managing PPM tasks, updating the CMMS, ordering materials, and coordinating with the technical team to uphold high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification with experience in building services.
• Experience with Building Management Systems and electrical monitoring.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot building systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate all building systems competently and efficiently.
• Act as Duty Authorized Person (LV) if required.
• Complete PPM and reactive tasks and update the system.
• Ensure statutory inspections and fire/safety records are accurately documented.
• Coordinate materials requests and supplier worksheets with the Technical Manager.
