Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking an Electrician to join our team to ensure electrical systems are maintained to the highest standard and meet customer expectations.

The role will be based temporarily in Bellshill and relocate permanently to Elgin, with opportunities for development and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS7671 wiring regulations knowledge.
• Electrical principles and installation methods.
• Full UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation on client sites in line with BS7671.
• Compliance testing of new and existing electrical systems.
• Fault finding and maintenance of LV electrical systems.
• Work independently or as part of a team on client sites.

Job description

This role will temporarily be based in Bellshill and then will relocate to Elgin on a permanent basis.

What will you be doing?

• Electrical installation on client site infrastructure in line with BS7671
• Compliance testing of new and existing electrical systems
• Fault finding and maintenance of LV electrical systems
• Working independently or as part of a team on client sites

What are we looking for?

Essential Requirements

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (NVQ Level 3 or AM2) or in process of completing
• BS7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Electrical principles and installation methods
• Full UK manual Driving license

Other Requirements

• Gold Card (Desirable)
• 2391 - 52 Award in Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations or equivalent (Desirable)
• Team player, supporting your colleagues
• Self-motivated and a flexible approach to the working environment
