Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Electrician to join our team in Scotland, with initial placement in Bellshill before relocation to Elgin. You will ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standard and meet customer expectations on site.

You will perform electrical installations on client site infrastructure, conduct compliance testing, fault finding and LV system maintenance, and work independently or as part of a team on client sites.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 electrical qualification (NVQ3 or AM2) or in progress.
• BS7671 18th Edition wiring regs.
• Electrical principles and installation methods.
• Full UK manual driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation on client site infrastructure per BS7671.
• Conduct compliance testing of electrical systems.
• Fault-finding and maintenance of LV electrical systems.
• Work independently or in a team on client sites.

About The Role

This role will temporarily be based in Bellshill and then will relocate to Elgin on a permanent basis

• Electrical installation on client site infrastructure in line with BS7671


• Compliance testing of new and existing electrical systems


• Fault finding and maintenance of LV electrical systems


• Working independently or as part of a team on client sites

What are we looking for?

Essential requirements

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (NVQ Level 3 or AM2) or in process of completing


• BS7671 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations


• Electrical principles and installation methods


• Full UK manual Driving license

Other requirements

• Gold Card (Desirable)


• 2391 - 52 Award in Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations or equivalent (Desirable)
